 Edwalton Local History Society started its life in November 1994 and over the last 16 years well over a hundred members of the community who have joined the Society have enjoyed hearing about the growing village of Edwalton and about those generations of villagers in the past who have been part of our story.
The Society’s aim is to bring people together interested in all aspects of local history for talks, discussions, visits and research activities; considerable importance has always been attached to local, practical research and enquiry, continually building on that which is already on record.
